Ed Hime adapts THE LIBATION BEARERS for Radio 3

THE LIBATION BEARERS, the second play in Aeschylus' classic trilogy, THE ORESTEIA, plays this Sunday on BBC Radio 3 in a new version by Ed Hime.

Agamemnon's son Orestes returns home from exile to kill his mother in revenge for his father's murder. But where can he find the strength to carry out such a terrible deed?

The cast features Will Howard as Orestes, Joanne Froggatt as Electra and Lesley Sharp as Clytemnestra.
