Alice Birch wins Arts Foundation Award

Last night Alice Birch was named the recipient of the 2014 Arts Foundation Award for Playwriting.

The fellowship is supported by the Lionel Bart Foundation and is included alongside awards for Experimental Music, Sculpture, Arts Journalism, Painting and Material Innovation.

The Arts Foundation is an independent charity focussed on supporting emerging artists through awarding fellowships in artforms which change annually.
