MAD MAN is now open!

A new adaptation of Gogol’s classic story has opened at The Drum (Theatre Royal, Plymouth) written and directed by Chris Goode, who is also responsible for the sound design.  

Chris Goode’s dizzying new adaptation of Gogol’s Diary of a Madman retains all of the original story’s timeless capacity to startle, confound, disturb and delight. Lead by Lucy Ellinson, MAD MAN is a bleakly beautiful and relentlessly gripping journey into a world spiraling out of control.
