Alice Birch and E V Crowe create Midsummer Mischief for RSC

Alice Birch and E V Crowe have written new plays to be included in the RSC’s Midsummer Mischief season, taking place this summer in a custom-built studio space adjoining the Courtyard Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon.

Written in response to the quote, Well behaved women seldom make history, the plays have also been created in reference to The Roaring Girls season playing in the Swan Theatre.

The festival, overseen by RSC Deputy Artistic Director, Erica Whyman, also features plays by Timberlake Wertenbaker and Abi Zakarian.

REVOLT. SHE SAID. REVOLT AGAIN by Alice Birch and I CAN HEAR YOU by E V Crowe play from 14th June to 12th July.
