New WW1 Drama for BBC One The Crimson Field started this Sunday at 9pm, a gripping new drama written by Sarah Phelps presents one of The Great War’s untold stories. In a tented field hospital on the coast of France, a team of doctors, nurses and women volunteers work together to heal the bodies and souls of men wounded in the trenches.

The six-part series stars Kevin Doyle as Lt Col Roland Brett, Sam West and Annie Tricklebank is the producer.
