Happy Valley debuts tonight at 9pm on BBC One

BBC One’s new crime drama Happy Valley starts tonight at 9pm.

Set against the atmospheric backdrop of Calderdale in rural Yorkshire, the story revolves around police sergeant Catherine Cawood (Sarah Lancahsire).

The six part series crash lands on our screens with Catherine introducing us to her life.

Happy Valley stars Jill Baker as Helen Gallagher, Rachel Leskovac and Alan Mckenna as Phil Crabtree.
