Hong Khaou selected for Sundance Lab

Writer/Director Hong Khaou has been selected for the 2014 Sundance Institute Directors and Screenwriters Labs.

Taking place at the Sundance Resort in Utah from May 26th - June 26th, Hong will workshop and develop his new feature script MONSOON, a story of two young men visiting present day Vietnam who find solace in each other when confronted with the war’s ramifications nearly forty years after its end.

Creative advisors on the lab include Robert Redford, Kathyrn Bigelow, Michael Arndt and John August.

Hong's debut feature film LILTING premiered in the World Cinema Competition at this years Sundance Film Festival where it also won the Cinematography Award.
