Caroline Dawnay wins Literary Agent of the Year

Caroline Dawnay has been awarded Literary Agent of the Year at the Bookseller Industry Awards 2014.

Described as a 'canny exploiter of traditional publishing deals and new opportunities', Caroline was commended for a literary list 'of one of the deepest in agenting, an outstanding accumulation of contacts, and great skills of diplomacy'. The judges made mention of 2013's Man Booker Prize winning The Luminaries, whose author, Eleanor Catton, has been represented by Caroline since the start of her career.
