Paul Miller announces first season at the Orange Tree

The Orange Tree today announced its inaugural season under the directorship of its incoming Artistic Director, Paul Miller, who is the first person to take over the role in 42 years.

Paul himself will be directing revivals of DH Lawrence’s THE WIDOWING OF MRS HOLDROYD (3 Sep – 4 Oct 2014), George Bernard Shaw’s WIDOWERS’ HOUSES (17 Dec 2014 – 31 Jan 2015) and Doris Lessing’s EACH HIS OWN WILDERNESS (15 Apr – 16 May 2015).

Combining rediscoveries with new work, the season shall also include THE DISTANCE by Deborah Bruce (8 Oct – 8 Nov 2014), directed by Charlotte Gwinner; LITTLE LIGHT by newly awarded George Devine winner Alice Birch, directed by David Mercatali (4 Feb – 7 Mar 2015); and PLAY MAS by Mustapha Matura, directed by Paulette Randall (11 Mar – 11 Apr 2015).
