Michael Kinirons to pen new Jonas Arnby feature

Writer Michael Kinirons will pen the next feature of up-and-coming Danish director Jonas Arnby, currently titled WE WATCHED THE SUN DISAPPEAR. The project is backed by the Danish Film Institute.

Based on real events that took place on Greenland’s ice fields in the early 19th century, the film will centre around a Danish rescue expedition that went horribly wrong, leaving two men isolated in Greenland, struggling against cold, a hostile environment and each other.

Michael recently co-wrote the upcoming STRANGERLAND, starring Nicole Kidman, Hugo Weaving and Joseph Fiennes, while Jonas' feature debut WHEN ANIMALS DREAM screened during Cannes Critics’ Week back in May, and will feature as part of this year's BFI LFF programme.
