2014 Dinard British Film Festival winners announced

The 2014 Dinard British Film Festival winners were announced last night.

The top award, The Golden Hitchcock, was presented to Guy Myhill’s first feature, THE GOOB, which was shot by Simon Tindall, with costume design by Nigel Egerton and hair and makeup design by Emma Scott. Emma’s designs were also featured in ’71, starring Valene Kane and Richard Dormer, which won The Audience Award.

The Heartbeat Award Le Prix Coup de Coeur went to LILTING, directed by Hong Khaou, with hair and makeup design by Annette Field, costume design by Camille Benda and music composition by Stuart Earl.

Nominees included NOBLE, starring Sarah Greene, and THE RIOT CLUB, with costume design by Steven Noble, hair and makeup design by Jan Sewell and vocal coaching by Barbara Berkery.

Members of the jury included Emilia Fox and Kevin Macdonald.
