Robin Brown Creates Spectacular Installation at Frieze 2014!

Huge Congratulations to Robin Brown who has created a remarkable installation piece for the Helly Nahmad Gallery stand for the 2014 Frieze Masters in London, entitled 'THE COLLECTOR'. Housing the works of Magritte, Dubuffet and Fontana the stand has been critically acclaimed, described by Jackie Wullschlager at the FT as being 'spectacular', 'intoxicating' and ‘The best piece of theatre in town?’ Charlotte Higgins from The Guardian described the stand as ‘theatrically intricate’ and Dazed & Confused have said 'This is probably the best booth you will ever see at an art fair in your life'.

THE COLLECTOR is an immersive installation piece consisting of the interior hallway and rooms of an apartment in Montparnasse, in Paris 1968, filled with the found collected objects and artworks of one man’s lifetime, the collection being the mirror of the man.
