The British Comedy Award nominees 2014

The British Comedy Awards have announced the nominees for this year's ceremony and UA would like to congratulate all of our clients that have been nominated:

Best Comedy Entertainment Programme 

Diane Morgan plays Philomena Cunk in CHARLIE BROOKER’S WEEKLY WIPE.

 

Best Sketch Show

Jim Howick stars in HORRIBLE HISTORIES.

 

Best Sitcom

Dan Skinner is a regular in HOUSE OF FOOLS as Bosh.

Rob Brydon stars in THE TRIP TO ITALY as a version of himself.

 

Best Comedy Drama

Tim Key featured in the episode ‘Sardines’ from INSIDE NO.9.

James Corden co-wrote and stars in THE WRONG MANS which was also directed by Jim Field-Smith.

Daniel Lawrence Taylor features as a regular in UNCLE.

 

Best New Comedy Programme

Ashley McGuire is a series regular in MAN DOWN.

THE WRONG MANS has been nominated again in this category. 

 

Best Comedy Film

Joe Thomas stars in INBETWEENERS 2.

Jessie Cave features in the cast of PRIDE.

 

Best Comedy Moment of 2014

Susie Dent features in 8 OUT OF 10 CATS DOES COUNTDOWN.

 

Best Comedy Entertainment Personality

Stewart Williams writes for ALAN CARR (on CHATTY MAN and SPECSTACULAR).

 

Best Female Television Comic

Isy Suttie has been nominated for her appearance on ALAN DAVIES AS YET UNTITLED.

 

Best TV Comedy Actress

Katherine Parkinson has been nominated in this category.
