Nominations for The Golden Globes

The nominations for the 2015 Golden Globe Awards have been announced and UA has a number of clients nominated. For over 70 years, The Hollywood Foreign Press Association have been honouring Film and Television in 25 different categories. 

THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING has a total of 4 nominations including Best Picture, Best Actress, Best Score and the leading actor Eddie Redmayne has picked up a nomination for Best Actor in a Motion Picture (Drama). 

UA has three actresses nominated in the Best Actress in a Motion Picture (Drama) category; Keira Knightly for THE IMITATION GAME, Julianne Moore for STILL ALICE and Rosamund Pike for GONE GIRL. Julianne Moore has also been nominated in the Best Actress in a Motion Picture (Comedy or Musical) for MAPS TO THE STARS. 

Following on from last year's Emmy Award nomination, Ricky Gervais has been nominated for Best Actor (Comedy or Musical series) for DEREK. This nomination comes just two weeks before Derek: The Special airs on Channel 4. 

GAME OF THRONES (starring Kit Harington and Natalie Dormer) and DOWNTON ABBEY (starring Kevin Doyle) have also received a nomination in the Best Series Drama category. PRIDE (starring Andrew Scott) has been nominated for Best Picture in a Motion Picture (Comedy or Musical) along side INTO THE WOODS (starring James Corden and Lucy Punch).

The ceremony will be held on January 11th 2015. Congratulations to all the UA clients nominated!
