WOLF HALL premieres tonight

WOLF HALL premieres tonight at 9pm on BBC2. Peter Kosminsky directs the six-part adaptation of Hilary Mantel’s historical novels Wolf Hall and Bring Up the Bodies. The series takes place in the years before the Reformation and charts the rise and fall of Thomas Cromwell. Pat Campbell designs the production, which is set predominantly in and around several of England’s medieval and Tudor houses.

Charity Wakefield plays Mary Boleyn, sister of Anne. Luke Roberts plays Henry Norris, a close servant of the King. James Laurenson plays the Earl of Shrewsbury. Early reactions from critics suggest that the series will not disappoint fans of the Booker Prize winning novels.
