OLIVIER AWARDS 2015 - nominations announced!

It's been a fantastic year for our clients with nominations in the Actors, Creatives and Technicians categories.

Richard Armitage and James McAvoy have been nominated in the Best Actor category for THE CRUCIBLE (Old Vic) and THE RULING CLASS (Trafalgar Studio 1) respectively.  THE CRUCIBLE has also been nominated for Best Revival.

Lydia Wilson is up for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for KING CHARLES III at the Almeida and Wyndham’s theatres. KING CHARLES III has also been nominated for the Virgin Atlantic Best New Play Award and Rupert Goold has been nominated for Best Director

David Plater and Paule Constable are in the running for the White Light Award For Best Lighting Design for WOLF HALL and BRING UP THE BODIES at the Aldwych theatre. WOLF HALL and BRING UP THE BODIES has also been nominated in the Virgin Atlantic Best New Play category and featured UA's Jay Taylor

In the Best New Comedy category are HANDBAGGED (Vaudeville Theatre) by Moira Buffini and SHAKESPEARE IN LOVE (Noël Coward theatre) adapted from Tom Stoppard's Oscar winning screenplay.  Also nominated is THE PLAY THAT GOES WRONG (Duchess Theatre) written by and starring Henry Lewis, Jonathan Sayer & Henry Shields

The Donmar's production of CITY OF ANGELS is nominated for the Magic Radio Best Musical Revival award. It starred UA's Samantha Barks, Katherine Kelly & Tam Mutu.

Jonathan O’Boyle was the Associate Director on BULL (Young Vic) which is nominated in the Outstanding Achievement in an Affiliate Theatre category. James Turner was the Associate Designer on A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE which is up for the XL Video Award for Best Set Design and starred Emun Elliott.
