CODE OF A KILLER begins Easter Monday on ITV

 

Based on the extraordinary true story of the development of genetic fingerprinting, two-part drama CODE OF A KILLER begins Easter Monday on ITV.

The story follows scientist Alec Jeffreys and Detective Chief Superintendent David Barker, as they test ground-breaking technology to catch the man responsible for the brutal murder of two Leicestershire schoolgirls between 1983 and 1987.

Directed by James Strong, the series is edited by Mike Jones, and features performances from Neil Edmond and Michael Ajao. The casting director is Jill Trevellick, and the 1980s setting is brought to life by production designer Anna Pritchard, and costume designer Ray Holman.
