James Corden Receives His OBE

Today UA’s James Corden will head to Buckingham Palace to receive an OBE from Princess Anne, for his Services to Drama.

Known for his roles in the comedy dramas GAVIN & STACY (2007 – 2010) and THE WRONG MANS (2013-2014), Corden shone early on in the film adaptation of Alan Bennett’s THE HISTORY BOYS (2006). That year, Corden also joined the star-studded cast in the film of David Nicholls’s STARTER FOR TEN (2006).

Corden took to the stage in the National Theatre’s esteemed production of ONE MAN, TWO GUVNORS (2011), which was a phenomenal success in both the West End and Broadway. He has now strongly established himself in America, having become the host of THE LATE LATE SHOW on CBS earlier this year.

Aside from his significant triumphs within the entertainment industry, Corden has also contributed greatly to charity with his substantial involvement in Comic Relief and Sports Relief.
