PHOTOGRAPH 51 premieres in London

Nicole Kidman has made a triumphant return to the London stage after a seventeen year absence in the UK premiere of PHOTOGRAPH 51, directed by Michael Grandage. Anna Ziegler's award-winning play dramatises the life of Rosalind Franklin, a scientist instrumental in the discovery of DNA but one largely forgotten from the history books, and the reviews have made much of Ms Kidman's performance, with the New York Times praising her as being "close to perfection" in the role.

UA's Anne McNulty cast the production, with Lighting Design by Neil Austin and Sound Design by Adam Cork. Sandra Frieze worked with Ms Kidman as voice and dialect coach.

The production runs at London's Noël Coward Theatre until 21 November 2015.
