MACBETH hits UK cinema screens to rave reviews

After bowing at Cannes earlier in the year, Justin Kurzel's film adaptation of MACBETH arrives in British cinemas today. Starring Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard, critics have already declared it "one of the great Shakespearean movies."

The Huffington Post (UK) says: "Visually stunning with slow motion battles set against a cloud and rain swept landscape that's as much a character of the film as the outstanding cast. Jed Kurzel's thunderous score, Adam Arkapaw's cinematography and Justin Kurzel's directorial vision and flourish teamed with leads Michael Fassbender and Marion Cotillard makes for an outstanding and rich cinematic version of 'Macbeth'. It's stunning cinema."

In addition to Jed Kurzel's score, UA's Chris Dickens ACE edited the film.
