Irish Film and Television Award Nominations 2015

The list of nominees for this year’s Irish Film and Television Awards has been announced.

Red Rock creator Peter McKenna has been nominated for Best Writer for Soap and Comedy, and director Lisa Mulcahy has also received a nomination in the Best Director category for her work on the show.

Sharon Horgan’s critically acclaimed Catastrophe has picked up two nominations for her in the Best Female Lead and Best Writer for Soap and Comedy categories.

Nick Vincent-Murphy has been recognised for his work on Moone Boy after receiving a nomination for Best Writer on Soap and Comedy. Moone Boy has received several nominations, including Best Comedy, Best Female Lead, Best Male Lead and Best Director.

The Ceremony will take place at the Double Tree Ballroom on Thursday 22nd October 2015 where the winners will be announced.
