AFTER HOURS STARTS TONIGHT ON SKY 1

New Sky 1 sitcom AFTER HOURS starts tonight at 9.30pm. Directed by Craig Cash, the six-part series follows 18-year-old music fan Willow Hannigan, played by James Tarpey.

Having just left school, things aren’t quite going to plan for Willow. His friends have headed off to uni whilst he is stuck at home with his mum and dad struggling to get a job in his declining town of Shankly. With his dad Peter (Ardal O’Hanlon) out of work and his dreams of travelling the world shattered when his girlfriend Jasmine dumps him, Willow’s only solace is local independent radio show After Hours. So, when a chance encounter with one of its hosts, Lauren (Jaime Winstone), leads to him being offered a job on the show, he believes his luck might have changed. But can he convince his parents that volunteering on a pirate radio show is a good idea?
