Richard Elson's A Christmas Star Premieres in Belfast

Congratulations to Richard Elson whose debut feature film A Christmas Star premiered on Wednesday in Belfast. The film is the first Northern Irish & Irish Christmas film, the first of its kind, to be made by young people mentored by industry professionals. It stars Pierce Brosnan and Surrane Jones and is narrated by Liam Neeson.

Julian Fellowes, a patron of the film's backers Cinemagic, said "I found it funny and warm and it makes you cry, and all the things you want from a film like that. I think it'll be a classic."
