About

Paul Adam was born in 1958. He grew up in Sheffield and studied law at Nottingham University. He began his writing career as a journalist and has worked in Rome as well as in England. He has written eleven thrillers and has written for television. He is currently working on his Young Adult trilogy, THE MAX CASSIDY SERIES, the first of which, ESCAPE FROM SHADOW ISLAND, won the Salford Children's Book Award 2011. He lives in Sheffield with his wife and children.
