About

Rick started his career as an actor working with the Reduced Shakespeare Company, with a number of UK contemporary dance companies and originated the role of Jerry Springer in JERRY SPRINGER THE OPERA.  While with the Reduced Shakespeare Company he co-wrote numerous pieces for BBC Radio.  THICK, his first play, premiered at the 2003 Edinburgh Fringe Festival followed by a self-funded UK Tour. It was revived for the 2010 Brighton Fringe Festival where it was awarded an Argus Angel for Outstanding Artistic Excellence and just finished another critically successful run at the New Diorama. THICK has been turned into a screenplay. Rick is currently working on the 2nd draft of his new play, Full of Bees. When he isn’t working, he volunteers at Scene and Heard, works as a producer at the Oscar-winning Animation Studio, TANDEM and continues to write.
