About

Rick started his career as an actor working with the Reduced Shakespeare Company and some of the UK's top contemporary dance companies including the Mark Bruce Company, Ricochet and Darren Ellis Dance as well as originating the role of Jerry Springer in JERRY SPRINGER THE OPERA.  While with the Reduced Shakespeare Company he co-wrote numerous pieces for BBC Radio.  THICK, his first play, premiered at the 2003 Edinburgh Fringe Festival followed by a self-funded UK Tour.  It was revived for the 2010 Brighton Fringe Festival where it was awarded an Argus Angel for Outstanding Artistic Excellence.  THICK has been turned into a screenplay and there is a planned London run later in 2010.
