About
Simon studied Drama at Manchester University where, in between lectures, he wrote and performed sketches and plays. Having sold his first sketch to a BBC Manchester radio comedy show, he decided to concentrate on writing and went on to do a postgraduate diploma in playwriting. He made his TV writing debut on EastEnders where he was a member of the core writing team. Commissions on other long-running dramas followed leading to a highly successful run on BBC1’s prime time action-adventure Robin Hood. Since the he has been busy making his mark as an inventive and exciting talent with a number of original projects in active development. |
