STEFAN GOLASZEWSKI is a writer and performer and a double Edinburgh Comedy Award winning director.

He is the creator and writer of BBC3's HIM & HER (starring Russell Tovey and Sarah Solemani), which received fantastic ratings and reviews for both Series One and Series Two: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00tmyzz

Series Three has been commissioned and will go into production later this year.

Stefan has just been nominated for the Break-through Talent Award at the The Bafta Television Craft Awards. The ceremony will be held on Sunday 13 May 2012.

His original play SEX WITH A STRANGER ran at the Trafalgar Studios through-out February 2012 starring Russell Tovey and Jamie Winstone. It sold out and had excellent reviews:

Stefan is currently working on his feature film STEFAN GOLASZEWSKI SPEAKS ABOUT A GIRL HE ONCE LOVED with Ruby Films. It was previously in development with the Film Council.

At the end of 2009, Stefan performed a double bill of his critically acclaimed plays STEFAN GOLASZEWSKI IS A WIDOWER (which made its debut at the Traverse in Edinburgh 2009) and STEFAN GOLASZEWSKI SPEAKS ABOUT A GIRL HE ONCE LOVED. The Telegraph said of it:

"The Confidence of his performance and the uncensored emotional truth of his writing are truly exceptional".

His first play STEFAN GOLASZEWSKI SPEAKS ABOUT A GIRL HE ONCED LOVED was a total sell-out at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in 2008, won a Fringe First award, was nominated for Best Solo Show in the Stage Awards, was short-listed for the Holden Street Theatre Award and had a subsequent Off Broadway run.

As a part of sketch group COWARDS, Stefan has written and starred in a series for BBC4 and two for Radio 4.  The series was nominated for a Scottish BAFTA in the category of Best Entertainment Show.

Stefan has directed writer-performer talent at the Edinburgh Festival. Recent shows have included Tim Key, Nick Mohammed, House of Windsor, Two Episodes Of Mash, Tom Basden (winning the 2007 Intelligent Finance Award for Best Newcomer), and Jonny Sweet (winning the 2009 Edinburgh Comedy Award for Best Newcomer).
