Steven Hall was born in Derbyshire in1975 and studied Fine Art at Sheffield Hallam University. He was named one of GQ's most exciting young  UK creatives working in all media today and was named fifth in The Daily Telegraph's list of the Top 20 Novelists Under 40 in Britain.

20 international rights deals have already been signed for his first novel, THE RAW SHARK TEXTS with film rights currently under negotiation, and was the winnner of the Borders 2007 Original Voices Awards.
