UA Editor at Sheffield Doc/Fest

The Sheffield Documentary Festival opened yesterday for a 5-day run, showcasing the cream of the international crop of documentaries and factual works.

Today sees the premiere of ERASING DAVID, a shocking look at our loss of civil liberties in a world of digital communication overload.  In this age of CCTV cameras on every corner and electronic paper trails stretching into the ether, is it possible for a man to truly make himself disappear?  Edited by Wojciech Duzcmal, this film shows director and filmmaker David Bond attempt to "erase" himself from the public eye, and in doing so learn just how private our private lives really are.

“Erasing David is a wake-up call and a guide to identity
self-defence for everyone. The film will empower audiences to reclaim
their privacy.” - The Channel 4 BRITDOC Foundation

As the UK's leading documentary festival, Sheffield Doc/Fest is attended by both members of the public, and leading lights in the world of factual programmes.
