Andy Petersen is a South African screenwriter living in London.

He was a nationally-published author at the age of 16 with Penguin Books and has been a working screenwriter for the past ten years.

He was-mostly recently credited as Writer on seven episodes of SHAKA ILEMBE, the most expensive African-produced series of all time, and the highest-rated show in South African pay-TV history. The series has been renewed for a second season, which he is currently working on. He has just finished work on RED INK, an upcoming 8-part thriller based on a novel of the same name, for Showmax, which he created for television and wrote.

Andy was born in the United States and has a US passport.
