Astrid Roos

Astrid Roos is a French and Luxembourger actress. Very quickly, she landed the main roles in foreign films such as TANJAOUI, in official selection at the Marrakech International Film Festival 2012, and she began an international career. She works in both French and English and has starred in movies in France, Canada, Indonesia, Morocco, Luxembourg, Belgium and Greece. 

In 2015 she became « Talents Cannes Adami » at The Cannes Film Festival, and continued to alternate between film and theatre projects. She was nominated for Best Interpretation at the Filmpraïs Awards 2018 for her part in DARK JUSTICE. She continued with DREAMLAND alongside Juliette Lewis and Henry Rollins.Then she starred in the first virtual reality feature film, FANCLUB, with Sylvie Testud and Denis Lavant. 

In 2019, she landed the leading part alongside Max Von Sydow, in ECHOES OF THE PAST, directed by Nicholas Dimitropoulos. In 2021, you could see her in the acclaimed series PARIS POLICE 1900, by Julien Despaux. And since 2022, she has played in the successful committed play FAUT-IL SEPARER L’HOMME DE L’ARTISTE? in National theaters. 

This year you will discover her as one of the leads in WINTER PALACE, a new Netflix series directed by Pierre Monnard. To be released at the end of the year.
