Camilla Reid is the creative powerhouse behind some of the most recognisable and enduring brands in children’s books, including the Felt Flaps, Pip and Posy and Bizzy Bear. Twice shortlisted for Editor of the Year, Camilla is a founder of pioneering children’s publisher Nosy Crow, where she started and built the Preschool and Novelty list - now widely regarded to be the jewel in the company’s crown.

Camilla is known for her stylish, innovative titles which engage and delight both children and their grown-ups in equal measure. Her books sell in their millions both in the UK and internationally, and have won numerous prizes, including the prestigious Sainsbury’s Book of the Year for WHERE’S MR LION?

In 2021, Camilla made the decision to leave corporate life and become an independent author. Since then she has launched her website, www.camillareid.com, has a number of exciting projects in the offing, and has found that she has a spring in her step again!
