Deborah is a theatre director and playwright. Her most recent play DIXON AND DAUGHTERS went on at the Dorfman at the National Theatre in Spring of this year directed by Roisin McBrinn. DIXON AND DAUGHTERS was a co-production with Clean Break and was initially conceived when Deborah was their Writer in Residence between 2016 and 2018.

Theatre work includes RAYA (Hampstead Theatre); OUR FATHER (Rada); THE HOUSE THEY GREW UP IN (Headlong/Chichester Festival Theatre); THE DISTANCE (Orange Tree/Sheffield Theatres/Melbourne Theatre Company); JOANNE (Soho Theatre/Clean Break); SAME (National Theatre – NT Theatre Connections Festival) and GODCHILD (Hampstead Downstairs).

Most recent work as director includes PRIDE AND PREDJUDICE (Regent’s Park).
