Ella is a writer and performer. Her debut one woman solo show ‘Stingray’ explores queer rural identity and its complex relationship with freedom. She read English Literature at Oxford University and subsequently studied at internationally renowned theatre school, Ecole Philippe Gaulier. A graduate of the Royal Court Young Writers Programme, her first two hander script, ‘Faultlines’ played at the Burton Taylor Studio, Oxford Playhouse. Ella is inspired by writers who blur genres between memoir, academic exploration and absurdist comedy. She is currently finalising her first work of prose.
