Ger Gleeson is an Irish screenwriter. His fascination with stories and imaginative worlds led him to study English and History for his BA degree before completing an MA in Drama. He has a background in education where he worked for many happy years with both adults and teenagers. He has recently been selected for Philip Shelley’s inaugural Irish ‘Greenlight Screenwriting Lab’ for emerging Irish TV writers. He was nominated twice for the RTE PJ O'Connor award and his short plays include ‘Voice’ by Fishamble. He’s currently developing a range of exciting TV and film projects with producers.
