Gijs Naber

Gijs Naber is a two time winner of the Dutch Academy Award for ‘Best Actor’, and is among the country’s most celebrated and well-known actors.

Gijs plays the title role in HAGEN – an epic fantasy feature film, which will be followed by a six-part event TV series, produced by Constantin Film. It is being released in 2024 and being distributed internationally by Fremantle. 

Over 2024, Gijs filmed the lead role in an upcoming series for Amazon Prime Video, in which he plays the leader of a biker gang. He has spent the autumn of 2024 filming a returning confidential major British series for the BBC and Amazon Prime Video. 

In 2021, Gijs played the lead role opposite Lea Seydoux in THE STORY OF MY WIFE which premiered in the main competition in Cannes.

Other notable recent credits include the iconic role of Ronald Koeman in the 2021 Swedish-Dutch co-production I AM ZLATAN and a starring role in the 2023 Netflix feature - FAITHFULLY YOURS.
