Hannah George is an award winning writer. She has written extensively for television, including shows such as THE ADVENTURES OF PADDINGTON (Blue Zoo Animation Studio/Nickelodeon), MOOMINVALLEY (Gutsy Films), THE RUBBISH WORLD OF DAVE SPUD (Illuminated Productions), THE DUMPING GROUND (CBBC), WOLFBLOOD (CBBC), THE HOUSE OF ANUBIS (Nickelodeon), TROLLIED (Sky1) and THE LODGE (Disney). Hannah was recently part of the the writers’ room for Happy Prince/Netflix's series WILDFIRE and, together with Taylor Glenn and Catie Wilkins, she is creating a TV show based on their hit podcast DRUNK WOMEN SOLVING CRIME. Hannah is also writing on FINKEL STORM for Black Dog, SUPER HAPPY MAGIC FOREST for Tiger Aspect Kids/CBBC and ANDY AND THE BAND for Ninja Pig.
Her episode of THE ADVENTURES OF PADDINGTON won A Daytime Emmy for Outstanding Preschool Animated Series. Hannah has written on the first, second and third seasons of THE EMILY ATACK SHOW for Monkey Kingdom / ITV. Her feature film THIRTY DANCING will be produced by Gavin Glendinning with Bankside Films on board as Sales Agent.
Hannah writes and directs online sketches that have amassed over 120M views. Her sketch WHERE ARE YOU FROM? THE GAME written with Tasha Dhanraj won the Writers Guild Award for Best Online Comedy. They also won the same award in 2020 for their sketch SIDE EFFECTS OF THE PILL and REMEMBER GETTING THE PERIOD TALK AT SCHOOL #MENOPAUSE in 2022. Her web series S-BAND was nominated for Best Web Series at Raindance.
She is a Broadcast Hotshot and an Edinburgh TV Festival ‘One to Watch’.
Hannah is 1/3 of the hit UK true-crime podcast Drunk Women Solving Crime.
