Film, TV & Theatre
Originally from the West Country, Hatty started out composing scores for folk plays performed in churches, woodlands and derelict buildings. After moving to London, she met Tom Rasmussen, and together they wrote their first punk-pop album ‘Going For Gold’ under the name Thigh High. Hatty has been performing in the drag king band BOYZ for over eight years, and continues to collaborate with performance artist Rose Wood at The Box, Soho. Princess Republic, her early noughties avatar, hosts a monthly show on Netil Radio. Hatty also builds synth replicas, after learning how to solder in the pandemic. Her theatre credits include DOG (Camden People’s Theatre), Transphoria (ICA), On Railton Road (Brixton Community Base), ACM Presents (Soho Theatre), The River Running (Streatham Space) and Hippolytos (V&A Museum).
Hatty, along with her creative partner Tom Rasmussen, composed the music for Starter for Ten, an exciting new musical at Bristol Old Vic in 2024, as part of Nancy Medina's first season as artistic director.
Starter for Ten is nominated for Best Musical Production at the UK Theatre Awards 2024.
