Joe is a theatre director, artist and animator. He trained on the National Theatre’s Director Course in 2016. As well as directing around the UK and in Germany, Joe has also worked on various productions throughout the UK and on Broadway as an assistant director.
He was awarded Firstsite Collectors' Bursary Award in 2020. In 2016 Joe was awarded the National Theatre Director's Course and the JMK Award Finalist in 2015. In both 2011 and 2009 he won the Leeds Young Person's National Film Award.
Joe obtained his Writing, Directing and Performance BA (Hons) from the University of York.
