Kieran O'Brien

Kieran has worked in the film & television industry for over thirty five years and is known as an actor for his roles in ground breaking productions Cracker and Band of Brothers and more recently for his performances in the internationally acclaimed Star Wars spin off ‘Andor’ and Apple TV’s multi Emmy Award winning series ‘Ted Lasso’. He has most recently wrapped on the forthcoming Steven Knight series ‘A Thousand Blows’ for Disney+

Throughout 2023 he worked as Development Executive to BAFTA winning writer Matt Greenhalgh on a number of projects including shows for Universal Music Group, Working Title Films and the Amy Winehouse biopic Back to Black.  

The first short film he produced ‘Mr.Invisible’ screened at more that fifty international film festivals winning twenty three awards. He has Executive Produced a further five shorts that have also been highly successful around the world. He is currently finishing post-production on a short which explores the real life experiences of children aged fifteen years or younger being kept in solitary confinement in UK detention facilities.  

As a creative producer he currently has projects in development with Revolution Films and New Era Global.
