Lliana Bird

Lliana Bird is a writer, filmmaker, radio DJ, and co-founder of Choose Love.

She is the author of Baboo The Unusual Bee, her debut children’s book, which is set to hit the stage as a children musical in 2026.

As a radio DJ, Lliana holds the record as the longest-serving female DJ on Xfm/Radio X, with 16 years on air.

As a filmmaker, Lliana has written and co-directed several short films, including the multi-award-winning Snapshots.

In recognition of her activism, Lliana was named as one of Foreign Policy’s Top 100 Thinkers and as part of NESTA’s New Radicals. She also hosted the London Peace Talks.

Now focused on writing children’s books and filmmaking, Lliana lives in London with her partner, Noel, and their two children.
