Lucy Letherland is an illustrator from London and studied at the Manchester School of Art. Her work is strongly led by humour and narrative, using a mix of hand-drawn and digital techniques to create lively, detailed illustrations.
In 2014, Lucy’s first children’s book ‘Atlas of Adventures’ led to the best-selling ‘Atlas of’ series, translated and sold worldwide; winning the Edward Stanford Children’s Travel Book of the Year and shortlisted for the Waterstones Children’s Book Prize, amongst others. She continues to work for a range of editorial and publishing clients, and in 2023 her latest non-fiction book with Quarto, ‘The Who, What, Why of Zoology’, was published in collaboration with author Jules Howard.
