Minnie Stephenson is Channel 4 News’ award-winning Culture Correspondent. The broadcaster and journalist joined the programme in 2018 having previously worked for 5 News & ITV News, her interests include the arts, identity politics, women’s rights and LGBTQI+ stories.
With more than 15 years experience working in news and entertainment, Minnie presents across TV, radio and podcast. As well as regularly fronting documentaries for Channel 4’s critically acclaimed Unreported World. During the Covid pandemic Minnie’s interviews with politicians caught public attention. The journalist’s robust exchange with Dominic Cummings was described by Vice Magazine as “the doorstep of the decade”.
In 2019, Minnie and her team won the News & Currents Affairs Mind Award - for demonstrating a commitment to mental health reporting. The broadcaster has written for the Guardian, Huffington Post and Stylist. Minnie has hosted Pride in London and co-founded ITN’s first ever LGBTQI+ network.
