Miran Hadžić

Miran Hadžić is a screenwriter, playwright and producer.

In 2021 he launched a podcast series Out of the Woods: New Plays from the Balkans, which features his original audio drama Fifth Dimension, a dystopian satire. The series reached over 4,000 downloads & was nominated for a Grassroots Award at the Audio Production Awards.

His short play Feral won the Old Red Lion Theatre’s competition RedFEST, and his play The Day After was nominated for an Origins Award for Outstanding New Work at VAULT Festival.

He has worked with the Royal Court, Tamasha, Paines Plough and the Forum for Young European Playwrights.

Miran writes about characters who feel like outsiders in the world. His work is often set in London, where he has grown up.
