Alice Oswald shortlisted for Forward Prize for Best Collection 2016

Falling Awake, Alice Oswald's forthcoming collection, has been shortlisted for the Forward Prize for Best Collection 2016! The collection includes the poem ‘Dunt’, which was the 2007 winner of the Forward Prize for Best Single Poem. Vivid and distinct, alert and deeply, physically, engaged in the natural world, in these poems Alice is working as before with an ear to the oral tradition, and they are written to be read aloud. The collection will be published by Jonathan Cape on 7 July. Read more about it here.
