Anne V. Coates wins honorary Oscar

We are delighted to congratulate our client Anne V. Coates on her honorary Oscar, which was presented at the Academy’s Governors Awards ceremony on Saturday. 

Anne’s career has seen her edit a huge variety of films, from THE ELEPHANT MAN to ERIN BROCKOVICH. She was awarded the Oscar in 1963 for film editing for LAWRENCE OF ARABIA and has since gone on to be nominated a further 4 times for films such as BECKET, IN THE LINE OF FIRE and OUT OF SIGHT.  Anne’s most recent feature was Universal’s FIFTY SHADES OF GREY.
