Anupam Kher lands role in THE SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK

Bollywood veteran actor Anupam Kher has landed a leading role in David O'Russell's (The Fighter) new film, THE SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK, based on Matthew Quick's novel of the same name.

The film also features Robert De Niro, Bradley Cooper, Jackie Weaver, Jennifer Lawrence, Chris Tucker and Julia Stiles. 

"I am proud to be part of the film and I am really very happy to be sharing screen space with Robert De Niro. That is itself a trophy for me. And then being directed by David Russell, it is really amazing," said an excited Anupam.

Anupam is best known in the UK for his roles in Bend it Like Beckham and Bride & Prejudice.  His film Breakaway recently premiered at the Toronto Film Festival.

We wish him well for filming in Philadelphia later this month.
