BBC Audio Drama Awards

This weekend the winners of the BBC Audio Drama Awards 2017 will be announced. 

Valene Kane is up for Best Supporting Actor/Actress for THE STROMA SESSIONS. 

UA also have some wonderful writers in the running for awards. Al Smith’s LIFE LINES is nominated for Best Audio Drama Series. Oliver Emanuel is up for two awards, Best Adaptation for EMILE ZOLA: BLOOD, SEX AND MONEY and for the Tinniswood Award for Best Audio Drama Script for A HISTORY OF PAPER. Also nominated is Tom Wainwright in the Best Scripted Comedy category for his play THE STRANGE VANISHING OF JULIAN QUARK.

The winners will be announced in a ceremony at the BBC Radio Theatre on Sunday 19th January 2017, hosted by Sir Lenny Henry. Good luck to all our nominees!
