BBC NEW TALENT HOTLIST 2017
United Agents are delighted to announce that the following clients have made it onto the BBC’s New Talent Hotlist 2017.
They were all selected by creative leaders from across the BBC who were tasked with identifying emerging new talent and broadcasting stars of the future.
The list was announced at a special event last night, hosted by Tony Hall and Idris Elba. They also unveiled a series of initiatives to support new talent and to boost diversity at the corporation. This includes a project led by Mark Gatiss in which up and coming LGBT writers are given the opportunity to write original dramatic short films for BBC Four in a new project which charts a century of the UK gay experience, Matthew Baldwin and Michael Dennis are amongst the writers chosen.
