Brit List 2016
The 2016 Brit List, a line-up of the best yet-to-shoot movie screenplays as voted on by the UK industry, has been announced today.
It features three fantastic scripts from UA writers:
EXCELLENT WOMEN by Jemma Kennedy is an adaptation of Barbara Pym's novel of the same name. Set in the 1950's this comedy of manners boasts Colin Firth's Raindog Films and the BBC as Producers.
Chris Urch's as yet untitled Alexander McQueen project will depict the six months leading up to one of the greatest shows by the world-renowned designer, probing both his personal and professional personas. The Producers are Damian Jones's DJ Films and Pathé.
Written for Protozoa & Lionsgate, Krysty Wilson Cairns’ script THE GOOD NURSE is the thrilling true story of a nurse who discovers that her colleague may have been killing numerous patients and takes on the task of secretly gathering evidence against him.
Congratulations all!
